Growing up Adele watched her Father who was afflicted with Rheumatoid Arthritis peruse a regime of traditional medical treatment for his condition. She witnessed the amazing effect the drugs he was prescribed had on his condition. At the same time she became interested in a holistic approach to health.
Adele spent her early career working with underprivileged youth and children in New Zealand and on the streets of the ghetto in the Bronx and Brooklyn, New York. She connected with families and saw how children in poverty needed to be given hope through new experiences, fun programs and education.
In 2005 she decided to have a break as she had chronic fatigue and decided to adopt a holistic approach to gain energy and recover. She enrolled to study sports and neuromuscular massage and upon graduating ran her own business, helping people with conditions such as sciatica, lower back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, migraines, etc.
Adele was introduced to chiropractic in 2008 and saw how both modalities were essential for a faster recovery. She realised that not only the muscles needed releasing but the function of the vertebra of the spine and pelvis also needed to be addressed.
Adele studied at NZ College of Chiropractic and graduated in the class of 2014. She is a member of the CAA and uses specific manual adjustments using Gonstead and Diversified techniques. She also uses low force Activator technique, combined with trigger point release.
She believes the body has a tremendous capacity to heal itself if supported in the appropriate manner.
